On to the Tetons

After a windy and stormy night at Craters of the Moon and spending a freezing day exploring the park we headed toward Idaho Falls on the way to the Grand Tetons and Yellow Stone National Parks. We found a beautiful rest area in Ririe, ID to spend the night.

The next day was a no brainer on what to do. A visit to the Idaho Potato Museum in Blackfoot. And of course we ate at the potato diner adjacent to the Museum.

After learning more about potatoes than I ever cared to know, we headed to Idaho Falls. the downtown area was beautiful.

We heard of a spot on iOverlander across the Snake River from the rest area and found a great spot to boondock for the night.

The next day we continued east toward the Grand Tetons driving from Idaho Falls through the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. We stopped several times to enjoy the scenery. sometimes I'm amazed at how we get from place to place in a timely manner with all of my FOMO. We stopped in Jackson, WY this place is a popular stop for anyone visiting the Tetons and Yellowstone. It's also home to 3 ski areas during the winter.

A hop, skip and a jump and we were driving into the Tetons.

We were able to spend a couple of days here enjoying the peaks, Mormon Row and a couple of short hikes.
